OYOU Lens are monthly lenses that can be worn for approximately 12-16 hours a day. Therefore, OYOU recommends wearing them for no more than 12-16 hours each day to avoid excessive strain on the eyes and to maintain good eye health.
Can contact lenses cause eye infections?
Wearing contact lenses without proper care can increase the risk of eye infections and diseases. For example, Don't forget to wash your hands before wearing contact lenses or touching your eyes and soak contact lenses in solution for at least 5-6 hours before use. Should not use expired contact lenses; be sure to replace them immediately when the recommended time has passed.
At what age can contact lenses be worn?
Specifically from the age of 13 and above. This is the appropriate age to begin using contact lenses. For children whose vision is not yet stable, wearing contact lenses may not be suitable and can carry a higher risk compared to adults. In such cases, they should only be used for medical purposes or as advised by an ophthalmologist.
Can contact lenses injure our eyes?
This issue could occur but the likelihood is quite low. Most problems that usually occur wearing low-quality contact lenses and not following the ophthalmologist's recommendations. It is important to go see an ophthalmologist immediately if any discomfort or irritated occurs.
Can I just soak contact lenses without rubbing them?
Soaking contact lenses without rubbing may not be sufficient for a thorough cleaning. It is recommended to gently rub the lenses with a cleaning solution for 10-15 seconds on each side. After that, soak the contact lenses again in the lens cleaning solution to prevent protein buildup on the lens surface, as well as to reduce the risk of eye infections and other potential health issues related to eye hygiene.
